AR Sticker From Drawing - FAST - Gimp / Inkscape / Cricut Design Space

This tutorial takes a sharpie marker drawing and converts it into a vector file that was can print as a vinyl sticker. We can also turn this vector file into 3D letters for AR. This tutorial is much faster than the Illustrator AR sticker tutorial because it traces the bitmap image all at once to create a vector file as opposed to placing each anchor point one by one. This is faster but you lose the exact control you have with the curvature tool. The Trace Bitmap Function generates many many anchor points that have a hand drawn look. You can get pretty prefect lines from the conversion but you must spend time on the drawing making it perfect and the photo of it must be perfect as well.  Any imperfections in the drawing will need to be cleaned up.   If enough clean up is done you can achieve the exact same vector model as the other workflow. At a certain point (depending on the amount of cleanup and effect you want to achieve) its faster just to manually create the curves point by point + it will probably look more slick.

AR section of this tutorial is coming .....
